A main objective of the Project is to create a permanent, international network consisting of companies, private investors, banks, foundations and other institutions that will maintain contact with prospective researchers – entrepreneurs. Further, there will be continued follow-up interaction between the AUA community and the Network to explore potential investment opportunities.

After the network is shaped, the members will be contacted to sign an agreement together with AUA with intent to consider potential commercially valuable research ideas stemming from AUA for future financing.

The main result of the aforementioned is expected to be the increase in networking between entrepreneurs, in particular young people and SMEs, in the agri-food industry at national and international level and the AUA community intending to create business partnerships or create business clusters. Through the Network, the Project will ensure a continuous contact with the business world with emphasis on increasing two-way flow of information relating to research and development.
